About Sacred Oak

A local chapter of the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans.

What is CUUPS

A short answer

The Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPS) is a chartered affiliate of the Unitarian Universalist Association. CUUPS members are pagan-identified UUs and UU-curious pagans who gather in chapters across the country to share ritual, study, and community.

Sacred Oak is one of those chapters. We're a circle of seekers honoring the wheel of the year, the cycles of moon and season, and the many earth-rooted traditions that lead people home to the living world.

We're based in Gainesville, Florida and meet on the third Sunday of each month at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Gainesville (4225 NW 34th St). Seekers from Gainesville, Alachua County, and across North Central Florida are welcome.

What we do

Rhythms of the grove

Sacred Oak gathers around:

  • Sabbats — the eight stations of the wheel of the year (Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lammas, Mabon, Samhain, Yule).
  • Full-moon walks and rituals — held in the spaces nature gives us.
  • Discussion circles and workshops — pagan living in the modern world, divination, relationship with land and ancestors.
  • Newsletters and shared resources for members.

More detail is being added — come back as the wheel turns.
